We have gotten many inquiries from brides and grooms in the Northwest Florida area who only want their photos on a CD or flash drive. If this is something you want, this blog post is for you.

Sure, most people want to share their images on social media. Or, they think they will just print the photos on their own when they are ready. But, a lot of times, they never get around to it. If they do, they get them printed at a consumer lab like Walgreens or Walmart. These labs are inconsistent with color and often deliver sub-par prints on paper that isn't made to last very long.

This is why we strongly believe everyone should have their wedding portraits professionally printed and displayed prominently in your home.

Here are three reasons you should have physical prints...

1. In 10, 20, or 50 years, do you think Facebook will still be around?

2. Do you think that CD or flash drive will work forever?

3. Will that CD or flash drive even work with your future computers (remember floppy discs)?

Now, think about your parents and grand parents. Chances are, they still have their wedding photos. And why is this?

1. Because they are displayed on the walls in their home.

2. They have a wedding album.

3. Their images were printed on high-quality paper.

Now, don't forget about technology... take advantage of it. Use it as a backup. Our parents and grandparents didn't have the luxury of digital files.

Printing photos isn't old-fashioned, it's smart. Every time you look at your wedding portraits, you'll remember how happy you were on your wedding day. Marriage isn't always easy, and sometimes it's helpful to see your photos regularly, which is why you should display at least one wedding portrait in your home. Your wedding album is just as important, as it tells the story of your special day. If you ever hit a rough patch, it can be very therapeutic to sit down, relax and look through your album.
